Foreign investment surges in Mekong Delta

The city has licensed 21 new foreign-invested projects.

At present, there are 157 foreign-invested projects in Trà Nóc I, Trà Nóc II, Hưng Phú I, Hưng Phú II and Thốt Nốt industrial zones with a combined registered capital of over $883 million.

Over the past 11 months, Việt Nam attracted more than $15 billion in FDI, an increase of 40 per cent compared with the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
