Britain-Vietnam group raises money for Agent Orange victims

On display at the Vietnamese handicrafts stall were embroidery, lacquer paintings, silks, Buddhist statues, and postcards.

“The Vietnam War has been over for more than 30 years, but the Vietnamese people are still living with the legacy of the lethal dioxin sprayed in the country.

They have yet to receive compensation,” stated BVFS Secretary Len Aldis at the fair.

“All the money collected at the stalls will be sent to the fund for Vietnamese Agent Orange victims to help in reducing their sufferings,” said the BVFS Secretary.

In recent years, the BVFS has held various activities in support of Vietnamese Agent Orange victims, including joining the World Fair to raise money for the unfortunate people.
